Feedback/ Meet N Greet 9p-10p
Studio @ 550
550 Massachusetts Ave
Tabitha and Kate would like to give young choreographers within any genre of dance the opportunity to share their work in an informal but supportive setting in the Boston area. We see this as an opportunity to create community within the Boston dance scene.
Any and all choreographers are welcome to apply to BDTx. Whether chosen to show work at BDTx or not, everyone will receive personalized feedback from Kate and Tabitha.
Kate Dube began her training at Paula Meola Dance and Performing Arts in Sterling, Massachusetts. At PMD she worked with Rory Freeman, Amber Perkins, and Joelle Cosentino. Kate attended Dean College for her freshman year, receiving the opportunity to perform at the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival. Currently in the Trainee Program with Jessie Jeanne & Dancers / Boston Dance Theater, Kate is understudying repertory by Jessie Jeanne Stinnett, Sidra Bell and Itzik Galili.
Tabitha Hanay-Reaves began her training at her home studio, Moderne Academie of Fine Arts. She then continued her training at Dean College for one year before beginning her training with Jessie Jeanne and Dancers. Tabitha performed in Boston Contemporary Dance Festival as well as choreographed a piece for a Dean College showcase. Tabitha is a Trainee for Jessie Jeanne and Dancers / BDT. She learns repertory from Sidra Bell, Jessie Stinnett and Itzik Galili.
The Co-Producers would like to express their greatest thanks to Boston Dance Theater and Jessie Jeanne and Dancers for helping bring this program to life. Check out the links to their websites and social media!
